 Jonelle Cuningham  March 18 2023 SATB Dont Double Tendency Notes In Spacing : No more than an octave between upper voices, Pay special attention to alto and tenor Its important to have the third in the chord becasue third detremines wether chord is major or minor There are 2 positions Open Position- A chord elemnt could be placed between any of upper three voices Closed Position- No Chord element can be placed between any of 3 uppervoices Avoid Voice crossing its ok to double root and fifth Visual examples of SATB in music An example of one of the rules for SATB writing  my Video of hush little baby Helpful YouTube video that helped me understand rules of writing This videa also broke down the basic rules
