Notes:
- For 4th Species notes should be consonant
- In hymns there are 4 parts Soprano alto tenor bass
- Soprano usually carries melody
- In dominant harmony chordal 7th and leading tone are tendency tones
- the dissonant harmonic intervals of a dominant
- counterpoint should open with an implied tonic harmony
